About Me
Currently, I am an Intensive Care Nurse, specialised in Cardiothoracic surgeries. But since I remember I have been around animals: dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, pigs etc. My grandparents had a farm so I did spend all my summers and weekends with them helping out.
I have been working as a Nurse for 9 years, and as an animal volunteer for longer than that. My nursing career has given me a lot of experiences and opportunities but it is not where I want to spend the rest of my life.
Since I was young I wanted to work with and around animals in more practical work. My nursing career has given me the opportunity, after a few years to become a vet physiotherapist. Currently, I am a student of Veterinary physiotherapy at Writtle University College focusing on being one of the best ones.
As an animal volunteer, I have been hand to hand with many Veterinary clinics, helping with post surgeries recovery with small pets like cats and dogs. Also, I have been foster volunteer mainly for dogs who need to recover from trauma surgeries. After years of it, I have found what is really my passion.
